A plan to advance the Shoreline Trail, a key segment of the Wide Open West Trail System and West Michigan Trails Network.

  • Our Task

    This project focused on evaluating and prioritizing trail segments within the WOW Trail System to advance them toward implementation. Work included assessing feasibility, environmental considerations, community and agency support, and funding opportunities. A key emphasis was advancing the Lakeshore Trail through coordination and planning to support future grant applications, in collaboration with local communities, Mason County, MDOT, DNR, State Parks, and EGLE.
