Novi Active Mobility Plan

An initiative to advance safe, connected, and accessible walking and bicycling throughout the City of Novi, strengthening daily transportation and recreation through active mobility options.

  • Our Task

    The Greenway Collaborative led the 2023 update to the City of Novi Active Mobility Plan, building on the award-winning 2011 Non-Motorized Master Plan, in which TGC was also a key contributor. The project kicked off in late November and advanced through plan refinement and implementation development.

    Grounded in GIS-based analysis and extensive public input, the plan identifies opportunities and strategies to improve safety, mobility, and access for people who walk and bike. The final recommendations emphasize actionable improvements to infrastructure, policies, programs, and performance metrics, supporting a more connected, inclusive, and resilient active transportation network across Novi.
