Our Task
To develop a county-wide framework to improve pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure and provide the supporting policies and programs that encourage active transportation and help revitalize the economy. The public engagement process included small in-person workshops, on-line surveys and web based maps to present concepts and obtain feedback from the general public. The plan focused on cost-effective near-term improvements and, unlike a traditional planning document, the plan is a website. The website will be used to promote and share information about the active transportation plans efforts.
