Our Task
As part of a Regional Non-motorized Plan, The Greenway Collaborative developed and populated a readily transferable GIS-based inventory of existing and planned non-motorized facilities within the region. It also included regionally significant non-motorized links adjacent to the region, signed or mapped bicycle routes and existing side paths by type. The database used the Michigan framework data as a foundation and included information of both existing and planned non-motorized facilities. The data was used by SEMCOG in the development of the regional non-motorized plan for Southeast Michigan.
