Our Task
The Greenway Collaborative was retained by EMCOG to assist in the creation of the bicycle facilities map for the Bay Region. The region was split into two maps due the number of counties. The maps provide information for bicyclists to make an informed choice when selecting bicycle routes throughout the region. The map also includes information on available resources and bicycle safety.
In 2000, The Greenway Collaborative developed a Bicycle Facilities Map Prototype for MDOT, which lead to the creation of this map.
