Springboro Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan 2013

Located between Dayton and Cincinnati, the City of Springboro is a fast-growing community recognized for its excellent school system, parks, and historic districts. This plan established a long-range vision to improve walking and bicycling throughout the city while strengthening connections to neighboring communities and regional trails.

Our Task
The Greenway Collaborative prepared the City of Springboro Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan to establish a long-range vision for walking and bicycling, including connections to neighboring communities and regional trails. The planning process included public engagement, evaluation of existing infrastructure, and coordination with prior planning efforts.

The City began implementing the plan immediately through roadway projects, wayfinding, and bicycle support facilities. TGC later led the 2020 update of the Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan, building on the 2013 vision to reflect changing community priorities and conditions.
